Kelly Nash was born in Davie, Florida, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. Kelly Nash was raised boating and fishing along with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash is her sister and Carolyn Nash is her brother. Kelly Nash is from the English, Irish and Swedish ethnic groups. Her great-grandfather, a Portuguese Immigrant, immigrated to America from Portugal.



 Kelly Nash loved the Miami Marlins at a young age. Even though she was a fan of sports from an early age, she always had a dream to become a news anchor. Kelly Nash, a 2006 graduate of Clemson University in Clemson (South Carolina) having the degree of Bachelor of Communication as well as Media Studies. Clemson awarded her with a Master's Degree in Youth Development Leadership. In exchange to cover the Sports Information Department's Soccer and Baseball teams She was also awarded a full athletic scholarship by the Clemson Athletic Department.



 Kelly Nash is MLB Network studio host featuring in multiple shows on the network like the evening highlights show, Quick Pitch. She is also an NHL Network Studio host. She also appears on the Nightly Game recap show, On The Fly. In March 2015 she was a part of the MLB Network. She also began working for the NHL Network in 2015. It was during the time that the NHL Network's everyday operations were located at the MLB Network headquarters.
